They're the least popular football team in all of Florida, behind the NFL's Miami Dolphins, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, NCAA's Miami Hurricanes, Florida State Seminoles and Florida Gators.
Although they made the playoffs from 1996-99, they never made it to the Super Bowl.
Residents of Jacksonville were extremely happy when Tom Coughlin, who led the young franchise to all those playoff appearances, was fired from his position of head coach and GM.

They achieved success early in their career.
They made the playoffs from 1996-1999.
They beat the Miami Dolphins 62-7 in the 1999 playoffs, which would end up being Dan Marino's last game in the NFL.
They get to play 8 of their games in Jacksonville's great weather.
