Mistress

The Resume

    (March 20, 1964- )
    Born in Fort Lauderdale, Florida
Birth name was Lisa Jo Druck
Appeared in the films 'Overboard' (1987), 'Deadly Addiction' (1988) and 'Ricochet' (1991)
Adopted first name Rielle (pronounced 'Riley') in 1994
Produced internet videos for the presidential campaign of John Edwards
Edwards admitted to having an affair with her (August 8, 2008)

Why she might be annoying:

Jay McInerney used her as the basis for an 'ostensibly jaded, cocaine-addled, sexually voracious' character in the novel 'The Story of My Life' (1988).
She spent a lot of money on spiritual retreats before having an 'awakening' so profound that 'For weeks after I couldn't even leave my house.'
She denied that Edwards is the father of her child but has refused to allow a paternity test to prove it.
The Edwards campaign paid her company $100,000 for just four videos.
Edwards' campaign manager, Frederick Baron, admitted to providing financial assistance to Hunter.

Why she might not be annoying:

Her father paid an accomplice to kill her horse so he could collect the insurance money (1982).
BusinessWeek said her videos for Edwards represented a 'tipping point' demonstrating that online video is 'a serious medium.' (2006)
Baron claimed Edwards was unaware that he had helped Hunter financially and that no campaign funds were used.
Edwards claims that the affair took place only while his wife Elizabeth's cancer was in remission.
She told 'Extra' (February, 2007) of her first meeting with Edwards, 'The whole experience was life-altering for me.'
