Why she might be annoying:

Her personal appearance is overly pristine and dainty.
Her series ‘Tidying Up with Marie Kondo’ appears on Netflix.
She has a prayer-type ritual after entering a family home on decluttering visits.
Her husband quit his corporate job to manage her career as her popularity gained worldwide momentum.

Why she might not be annoying:

Her organization system for storing KonMari-ed clothing vertically in a drawer resulted her followers’ ability to store more clothing in less space!
Being a mother of two children (as of Spring 2019), she does allow a little messiness in her own home - for a little while

She connects decluttering to mental, spiritual and physical wellness.
Her ‘Spark Joy’ quote has become a pop culture catchphrase.
