    He failed to improve security at a nuclear power plant while he was Vermont governor during the early 90s (several security breaches were reported during this time).
    After being exempted from Vietnam service for back problems, he went skiing (interesting form of therapy).
    He declared a desire to be the candidate for 'guys with Confederate flags in their pickup trucks.'
    He said that the US should not prejudge Osama bin Laden's guilt in the 9/11 attacks, despite an video in which Osama boasts about being the man behind the incident.

    The income tax in Vermont was cut twice during his tenure and the sales tax on clothing was reduced.
    He eliminated a $70 million state budget deficit.
    Most of his campaign money comes from the Internet.
    He is focusing his Presidential campaign on being the candidate for the young voter (2004).
    He attended Yale University (graduated in 1971).
    He supported the invasion of Afghanistan.
    He is a fan of Wyclef Jean.
