Why he might be annoying:

At fifteen, he dropped out of school, to start a career as a jazz trumpeter.
He has one of the ugliest people, and utilized it for his comedy.
His nose was huge and his eyes bugged into different directions.
He 'Marty Feldman Comedy Machine' lasted only fourteen episodes (1971).
He wrote and directed the TV series 'When Things Were Rotten,' with Mel Brooks, it only lasted thirteen episodes (1975).
He said a week before his death 'I am too old to die young, and too young to grow up.'
He was a vegetarian.

Why he might not be annoying:

He suffered severe hyperthyroidism, which caused his eye buldge.
He was BBC's chief writer for 'The Frost Report.' This show influenced future British comedy writers, such as Michael Palin and Terry Jones of Monty Python.
He is best known for his role in Mel Brooks' 'Young Frankenstein' as Igor (eye-gore) the hunchback.
He is buried in Forest Lawn Cemetery next to his idol, Buster Keaton.
