He broke Brian Kingman's 23 year old record by losing his 20th game (September 2003).
His 9-21 record during the 2003 season led the team's pitching staff in both wins and losses.
His career failed to recover following that infamous season.

He worked his way up from class A to the Major Leagues during the 2002 season.
He was considered a dominating pitcher in the minor leagues.
Following the 9-21 season, he rebounded to win 11 games the following season.
Despite his inconsistent 2001 season in AAA, he happened to be team's most dominating pitcher.
He is a left handed thrower.
