The Resume

    (October 10, 1996- )
    Based in Lacey, Washington
Winner of the 24th cycle of America’s Next Top Model
2016 Face of FWG (Fashion Weekend Gambia)
    Black father, white mother

Why she might be annoying:

Even among those who didn’t vote for him, not everyone thinks President Trump is a ‘racist asshole.’
Early episodes – not so much the later ones – tended to make a point of her talking about being ‘an activist.’
She looked at the white mansion that served as the base of the horror photo shoot and quipped about an exorcism.
At the Pride Week runway challenge, she took a jacket emblazoned with a likeness of Caitlyn Jenner, and colorful fishnets… and bored the tar out of the challenge sponsor.
A brain injury sustained during volleyball practice impacted her literary studies and prompted her to quit sports.
    She admits to stuttering.
In the avatar challenge immediately following Erin’s elimination, her entry was called ‘Wonder Woman by day… Paris Hilton by night.’
She thought the ad campaign indicated in the Tyramail – describing cotton candy, a water pistol, and a fan – would actually have a carnival air (‘wear your best clown suits!’).

Why she might not be annoying:

She came by her talent honestly — her mother, who had her at 20, was also a model.
Inspired by last season’s shoot (showing Tatiana), she was excited to do the first Director X clip shoot, that was to highlight the contestants’ makeovers (hers being brown with a few tracks and a bit straighter).
At the drag queen photo shoot, she stated she was a fan of RuPaul’s Drag Race (‘that’s where I learned all my makeup tips… the queens know it all’).
Her final snapshot at the no-makeup photo shoot at the Top Model digs inspired a new term – ‘thighbrow’ – by Ashley, rather than Tyra!
During the gold-painted photo shoot with atypical male models – for which she received first callout – she caused Tyra to royally lose it by quipping, ‘When is Life-Size 2 coming out?’ (Reference to the Disney TV movie starring Tyra.)
At the panel for the second Director X clip shoot – where he was a guest judge – Ashley caused everyone to lose it by insinuating she had a crush on him.
She doesn’t believe she’ll ever be considered by any ballet outfit… but thinks she’ll have no trouble advertising noodles — to which she compares her legs and arms.
Despite a fourth callout for that panel, her victory meant the honor of appearing on the cover of PAPER Magazine — and the winning photo spread involved in the last photo shoot.
Until the seventh episode, she didn’t place higher than fifth callout; she was in the bottom two at two panels.
More than one contestant called out the edit of their character over the season; she never did.
