Why she might be annoying:

She was not supposed to be on the ill-fated flight - her schedule got mixed up with another Vesna.
She stated while she was happy, her fellow flight crew members sensed something bad was going to happen.
After she awoke from a three day coma, the first thing she asked for was a cigarette.
Having no recollection of the explosion or crash, she not only doesn't fear flying (she returned to work after her recovery), but claims to enjoy movies involving plane crashes.
She believes she is NOT lucky - if she were she wouldn't have been on the doomed plane and her parents wouldn't have died shortly after the incident.
When an interviewer asked if she ever married she stated, 'I got happily married in 1977 and then happily divorced 10 years ago!' (in 1991)

Why she might not be annoying:

At 18, she moved to London to study languages and get a better command of English to understand the lyrics of her favorite band, The Beatles.
She was a flight attendant a mere eight months when her ordeal occurred.
Her fall onto an icy mountainside lasted 3 minutes and her survival attributed to her naturally low blood pressure and 'a miracle.'
Doctors told her parents she wouldn't survive, but she recovered after a five month hospital stay.
She was given her Guinness Book of World Records award by her idol Paul McCartney who invited her to several of his parties.
She was forced to retire early and her pension was reduced due to her outspoken views of the Serbian government.
She is considered a national hero in Serbia and her activist views were rewarded when Slobodan Milosevic was yanked from power.
She stated, 'I am Serbian and proud of it...I was always asking people not to go to war, and not to fight against Croats or Bosnians because we are all the same nation.'
