Why they might be annoying
They were named after Expos '67, the World's Fair that was held in 1967.
Rusty Staub and Andre Dawson both played with the number 10 and both had their numbers retired.
Although having home field advantage during the 1981 National League Championship Series and being a game away from their first trip to the World Series they lost to the Dodgers when Ricky Monday hit a game-winning, ninth-inning home run.

Bill Gullickson set out a team record by striking out 18 Chicago Cubs in 1980.
The first All Star Game held outside of the United States was held in their Montreal home, Olympic Stadium (1982).
Many feel that they would've won the 1994 World Series had it not been for the players strike.
They entered the new millennium with two of the best young players, Jose Vidro and Vladimir Guerrero.
