    She lobbied for the pardon and release of Orlando Bosch who was convicted of acts of terrorism.

    Her father is anti-Castro activist Enrique Ros.
    She is a conservative Republican who supports gay rights.
    She is a promininet figure in calling for political change in Cuba.
