    Upon his debut as Dolph Ziggler, his gimmick was to introduce himself wherever he showed up.
    Less than a month after debuting as Dolph Ziggler, he was suspended by WWE for a month for taking an illegal substance in violation with their Wellness Policy.
    In 2009, he was in a number of matches for the Intercontinental title, but was never booked to win.
    His first WWE gimmick was the 'caddy' for Chavo Guerrero's infamous 'Kerwin White' gimmick.
    In spite of wrestlers these days usually having more flashy finishers, he sometimes uses the sleeper hold as a finisher.
    In high school, he set a school record for most pins in a wrestling career.
    At Kent State University, he was a 3-time All-Mid-American Conference champ at 165 pounds, holding a then-school record 121 career wins.
    He says that if he wasn't a wrester, he would be a lawyer.
    He likes Chevy Chase.
    Of all the former members of the Spirit Squad, he tenure with WWE lasted the longest.
