Best known for portraying Miss Moneypenny in the Bond films from 'Dr. No' (1962) to 'A View to a Kill' (1985)
Also appeared in 'That Hagen Girl' (1947), 'Bedtime for Bonzo' (1951) 'Lolita' (1962), 'The Haunting' (1963) and 'The Fourth Angel' (2001)

Why she might be annoying:

She ran away from home at 15 to join the Army Entertainment Corps.
When her real age was discovered while the AEC was in London, she enrolled in the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts to avoid being sent back to Canada.
She made her last appearance as Miss Moneypenny at age 58 and was then replaced by a 26-year-old actress.
She wrote a column for the Toronto Sun using Miss Moneypenny as a pseudonym.

Why she might not be annoying:

She made a wise decision changing her last name.
She received a Golden Globe as Best Newcomer (1947).
She appeared in a Life magazine photo layout with another upcoming actress, Marilyn Monroe.
She was in 14 Bond films, second only to Desmond Llewelyn's 17 appearances as Q.
