Why he might be annoying
His official website states that 'to see him skate is to watch a perfectionist at work.'
He does weight lifting and Pilates exercises.
He placed 5th in the U.S. National Championships (2005).
Because male figure skaters are thought to be gay, he trots out his wife and kids constantly.
Why he might not be annoying
He excels in the artistic part of Figure Skating.
He was the first American Figure Skater to land a quad toe loop in both competition and the short program.
He was the first to land a back flip with a full twist in competition (known as the 'Tornado').
He is also one of few American men who can do a quadruple jump in competition.
He does charity work for Special Olympics, Cystic Fibrosis, and Best Buddies.
