Why Sun might be annoying
It is hotter than Hell!
Looking into it directly would burn your eyes out!
Its glare is irritating to drivers.
It causes Sun burn, dehydration, heat exhaustion, heat stroke and skin cancer.
It must be very arrogant, considering it contains 99.8% of the Solar System's mass and everything in the system revolves around it.
It didn't get due credit as the center of the Solar System for a long time since people thought it revolved around Earth.
Solar winds and flares tend to cause radio interference and power line surges.
A year on the Sun lasts 224 million Earth years, since that is how long it takes to circle the Milky Way.
Genesis, a space probe sent to examine solar winds, crash-landed on Earth, destroying its data (2004).
It is the namesake of a British tabloid, an NBA team (Phoenix Suns) and a WNBA team (Connecticut Sun).
Why Sun might not be annoying
It is the brightest object in the daytime sky.
Without the Sun's heat, there would be no life on Earth.
It's the original tanning bed.
Its presence led to Earth's first clock system, the Sun dial.
It has its own day: Sun day.
It's an alternative energy source (though only for Earth's Sunniest places).
It shouldn't burn out for another five billion years, so there shouldn't be worry about burning out soon.
It inspired many songs such as 'You Are My Sun shine,' 'Here Comes the Sun,' 'Seasons in the Sun,' 'Blister in the Sun,' 'Walking on the Sun,' and 'Soak Up the Sun.'
