Why they might be annoying
The album that was supposed to be their debut wasn't released for eight years.
Brock was the only member of the group to appear in their 'Float On' video (the faces of the other band members had to be superimposed in the video).
They were on the 2004 Lollapalooza tour, which was cut short due to poor ticket sales.
Brock uses an extreme amount of profanity in interviews.
They have a reputation for overindulgence on drugs and alcohol.
Why they might not be annoying
All of the members had humble beginnings.
They have been compared to The Pixies.
Their music is very eclectic.
One time Brock was punched in the face and had his jaw broken just because he said 'hi' to a bunch of kids.
Though their lyrics are mostly cynical, yet their breakthrough song, 'Float On,' is positive and catchy.
