Why he might be annoying:

He was athletic in school but failed in sports tryouts due to a repeatedly dislocating arm.
His movie career has been less than stellar.
He portrayed Robin Hood in the Mel Brooks 1975 TV series bomb 'When Things Were Rotten' (12 episodes).
In the '70s when Adam West was distancing himself from the 'Batman' role, he filled in to make public service announcements and open supermarkets.
He sells caricatures on-line for $150 a pop.
He said of his most famous role: 'Hymie never stifled my career. He only enhanced it. I know kids who were named Hymie because they looked like me.'

Why he might not be annoying:

He enlisted in the U.S. Navy.
He is very versatile - having done stage and screen acting, nightclub singing and stand-up comedy, songwriting and writing books, magazine articles and two episodes of 'Love: American Style.'
He was nominated for a Tony in 1961 as Best Supporting or Featured Actor (Musical) for the Broadway production of 'Bye, Bye Birdie.'
He loves crossword puzzles; 'the harder the better.'
Late in his career he has done cartoon voice over work, including Serpentor for 'G.I. Joe.'
Not taking himself too seriously, he has demonstrated pogo sticks at Macy's and lists his proudest career accomplishments as never having hosted a talk show or baring his soul as part of a dysfunctional family.
