Why she might be annoying:

NASA had to design a special space suit for her due to her gender.
She caused women in space to be in vogue, so that Sharon Christa McAuliffe and Judith Resnick could blow up (okay we are reaching here).
The Russians launched a woman into space twenty years before Sally (Valentina Tereshkova) flew alone into orbit (1963)

Why she might not be annoying:

She has a cool name (Wilson Pickett's 'Mustang Sally' has lyric 'ride Sally ride').
She was the 1st American woman in space and never complained about the space helmet messing up her hairdo.
She received a doctorate in Physics at Stanford University.
She will respond to mail if a SASE is included.
She said: 'Our future lies with today's kids and tomorrow's space exploration.'
