Object of the game:
18 players are divided into two teams.
Each episode the teams are assigned the same task.
Each team chooses a project manager (team leader) who leads the team.
The team that earns the most money (or in some cases critical praise) for the task wins.
The winning team gets a reward.
The project manager (team leader) of the losing team selects two other members of the losing team to meet with Donald Trump
Each pleads why they should continue on but Donald Trump eventually eliminates one (or more) of them

Why Apprentice 6 - Los Angeles might be annoying
The show went from being a lesson in business to My Big Fat Obnoxious Boss.
The losing team slept in tents with outdoor bathrooms while the winners slept in a mansion.
The candidates built tents and did car washes in their business attire.
He fired Carolyn Kepcher because he felt she got a big head from doing the Apprentice. He then hired his daughter and son to replace her - nepotism.
It teaches that winning is more important than sportsmanship and ethics.
While promoting the show Trump got into a childish argument with Rosie O'Donnell over his treatment of Tara Conner.
People who TiVo Apprentice as a season pass had to reprogram to Apprentice Los Angeles.
It is truly sad to watch a then 24 year old, billionaire daughter Ivanka Trump berate the candidates and tell them to roll up their sleeves and get dirty.
Firings are arbitrary and completely at the whim of Donald Trump.
It left New York City to tape in Los Angeles.
A project manager stays in charge until they lose, which affords winning team members less opportunity to lead.
Michelle Sorro became the second apprentice candidate to resign.
The show's popularity continues to sink.
Why Apprentice 6 - Los Angeles might not be annoying
Despite firing Ivana Ma in Apprentice 2 for removing her skirt to make money claiming that this was inappropriate. Yet during this season we see the candidates in skimpy bikinis and showering.
They offer a $10,000 weekly prize to a home viewer.
Winning project managers are invited into the boardroom to help Trump decide who to fire.
The tasks allow the viewers to ponder how they would handle the challenges.
