(August 27, 1908-January 22, 1973)
36th U.S. President (1963-69)

Why he might be annoying
When he ran for re-election, he aired the first negative presidential commercial.
He ran a commercial showing a little girl picking a daisy and then a nuclear mushroom cloud, showing what life would be like under his opponent Barry Goldwater.
He once picked up his beagles by their ears, causing many Americans to protest his treatment of animals.
He decided not to seek re-election because of his popularity drop due to the Vietnam War.
His Vietnam policy caused a great divide in the United States and a huge protest at the 1968 Democratic Convention.
He dressed in western clothes.
He named his daughters Lucy Baines and Lynda Bird and his wife, Claudia, had the nickname Lady Bird, so everyone in the family had the same initials LBJ.
Why he might not be annoying
His administration was known as 'The Great Society,' in which he fought strongly for civil rights and a war on poverty.
He was elected with the then highest vote percentage 61% (1964).
He appointed Thurgood Marshal, the first African American to the Supreme Court.
During his administration the space program went from barely orbiting the Earth to orbiting the Moon.
