Why they might be annoying:

    They were portrayed in TV commercials as Frank Bartles (David Rufkahr) and Ed Jaymes (Dick Maugg) (1985-91).
    Like Penn & Teller, Frank did all the talking while Ed stood by silently.
    Their commercials ended with Frank saying: '... and we thank you for your support.'
    People have complained about their TV & magazine ads as bad influences on teens.
    Many people name their pets after them.
    Strip clubs sell their beverages for nearly ten times their normal price, plus they water or cranberry juice them down.

Why they might not be annoying:

    Some of their commercials have been described as catchy.
    Wine Coolers are appealing to women because they don't seem so harsh.
    They may help shy people dance like John Travolta.
    Their product come in various flavors.
    Their product is pretty easy to sneak into the movie theatres.
