The Resume

    (2000- )
Pitchbears for Charmin brand toilet paper
    Created by D’Arcy Advertising
Original family of brown bears split into two factions: blue bears for Charmin Ultra-Soft, red bears for Charmin Ultra-Strong (2007)

Why he might be annoying:

Many of their ads feature hairy bear asses with bits of the other leading brand of toilet paper clinging to them.
They seem to have no concept of personal space, judging from how often they inspect each others’ behinds.
In one of the ads, a younger bear says that Charmin keeps your derriere so clean that you can wear the same pair of underpants two days in a row, producing a shocked reaction from the mother bear – even though none of the bears are wearing any underwear at all.
She really should have saved the look of horror for a few seconds later, when the kid bear recommends Charmin to a friend he calls ‘Skids’ – who has his bare, skidmark-producing butt planted on the damn furniture!

Why he might not be annoying:

Unlike the brand’s previous spokesperson, they do not care if you squeeze the Charmin.
They are featured in Charmin’s ‘Sit or Squat’ mobile app, designed to help people find clean public restrooms while on the go.
They provide an excuse to tell the following joke:
A bear and a rabbit are both taking a dump in the woods.
The bear asks the rabbit, ‘Do you have a problem with poop sticking to your fur?’
    And the rabbit replies, ‘Nope.’
So the bear grabs the rabbit and wipes his butt with him.
