Why he might be annoying
He sobbed on national television when the 49ers selected him.
Before playing a single down, he became the highest paid tight end in NFL history.

Why he might not be annoying
According to Mel Kiper, Jr. he is the highest rated, most physically gifted tight end ever.
Scouts ranked him as one of the best prospect in the 2006 draft.
He become the second tight end (joining Kellen Winslow, Jr.) to be drafted as high as #6 (2006).
He bench presses almost 500 pounds, squats nearly 700, and has a 42-inch vertical.
Ralph Friedgen and 49ers teammates say he has an incredible work ethic.
In the combine, he ran a 4.38 40, which is faster than most wide receivers.
His first NFL catch was a 31-yard touchdown pass.
His offensive coordinator is Norv Turner, who is known for getting tight ends involved in the game.
