    Most well known for writing books about real life medical mysteries including; 'The Medical Detectives' and 'The Medical Detectives II'

    He wrote about medicine despite having no medical training.

    Depressed and suffering from emphysema, he committed suicide.
    He kept the same job and was married to the same woman for fifty years.
