Hockey Player

The Resume

    (May 13, 1985- )
    Born in Bratislava, Czechoslovakia
Drafted 271st overall by the Montreal Canadiens in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft
Goaltender for the Montreal Canadiens (2005-2010), St. Louis Blues (2010-2014), Washington Capitals (2014) and the New York Islanders

Why he might be annoying:

He spent the first few seasons of his career shuffling between the Habs and the team's minor league affiliate in Hamilton, Ontario.
Despite posting better numbers than Carey Price, he was relegated to backup duty.
Prior to Price's inconsistency, he was the frequent target of trade rumors.
Some Montreal area hockey pundits felt he would be another Canadiens goaltender who would buckle under the pressure of playing in the city.
He was virtually unknown to American hockey fans prior to the 2010 Stanley Cup Playoffs.

Why he might not be annoying:

He gradually earned a full-time spot on the Canadiens in the span of three years.
Unlike Price, he isn't surly and arrogant toward media personalities.
He guided Slovakia to a fourth place finish at the 2010 Winter Olympics.
He guided the Canadiens to a first round upset victory over the Washington Capitals (2010).
