    He frequently rewrites his works (sometimes very extensively) when they are reissued in later editions.
    His novel The Final Programme and his screenplay for The Land that Time Forgot are his only works to be filmed.
    He's very well liked by people in and out of the science fiction community.
    He was part of the British New Wave of science fiction concentrating on the effects of technology/change on people and society.
    He's worked with many rock bands like Spirits Burning, Hawkwind, and Blue Oyster Cult; inspiring them, writing lyrics, and even performing with them and has his own band The Deep Fix.
    He likes the work of Fritz Leiber.
    He allows other writers to use his universe.
    He edited the magazine Tarzan Adventures at age sixteen.
    He criticizes writers who inject politics into their work.
