The Resume

    (July 25, 1979- )
    Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina
Studied theatre at the London Studio Centre
Began his career performing in the London musical 'Chicago'
Played Tony Manero in the 2009-2010 Spanish production of 'Saturday Night Fever' in Madrid, Spain
Later acted in films 'Mamma Mia' and 'Survival Island'
Best known for his portrayal of Nicolás Treviño in the TNT reboot of the popular series, 'Dallas' (2014)
Took over the role of Jesus Christ, from Diogo Morgado, in Roma Downey and Mark Burnett's sequel to 'The Bible' - 'A.D. The Bible Continues' (2015)
Also known for portraying Kimmy Gibbler's estranged husband, Fernando, on Netflix's reboot of the Full House-reboot, 'Fuller House'

Why he might be annoying:

    He is a pretty boy.
    His nickname is Juampi.
The majority of his success on television has come from reboots of already popular TV series.
He was sighted at a Morocco restaurant during the filming of 'A.D.' dining and chatting with Haaz Sleiman, who was filming NatGeo's adaptation of Bill O'Reilly's 'Killing Jesus' (dining on loaves, fishes, and 'wine from water' no doubt).
He recalled his experience filming the crucifixion scene in 'A.D' by telling the press: 'I saw being crucified as being something fun to do!'
That being said, he did complain that he couldn't move his arms freely because to do so would ruin the made up blood and wounds, which were made from corn syrup (and which attracted flies).

Why he might not be annoying:

He speaks fluent Spanish, Italian, and English.
He was awarded a scholarship from the United World College of the Adriatic in Duino Trieste, Italy, at the age of 17.
He was named one of Top 100 Sexiest Argentinian Men by our Man Crush Monday bloggers.
He has performed in projects based and filmed out of Spain, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
He is versatile; going from playing a tormented Jesus to playing Andrea Barber's crazy womanizing husband on 'Fuller House.'
He said on the experience of filming 'Fuller House': 'When I walked in it was huge and very nerve-wracking and intimidating but that lasted all of two-minutes because everyone was so welcoming and sweet and lovely, it was such a pleasure... we had a ball every single day. It was laughs, laughs, laughs, and the happiest set I ever worked on.'
He also commented on the crucifixion shoot by saying: 'Just being up there, hanging from that cross and having that vantage point,” he says. “I look down at the people looking up at him and then up at the beautiful sky and then out at the red, red sand. That was a powerful experience.'
