He risked his life for fame.
He was featured on 'Ripley's Believe It or Not.'
He sustained minor injuries.
He and Debernardi were enclosed face to face, nearly nose to nose.
A lot of people spell his first name incorrectly.
The fancy, decked out barrel read 'Don't Put Yourself On The Edge - Drugs Kill!'
He and Debernardi were the 11th and 12th persons to plunge the Falls.
They had a second plunge in a giant yellow styrofoam ball planned.

He partnered in the same barrel with Peter Debernardi.
He and Debernardi are one pair of two that partnered to descend the Falls.
They were the first team to go over the Falls.
They met right before they teamed up.
He took the place of DeBernardi's first partner that backed out at the very last minute.
New York State Parks Police discovered the ball in a truck, pulled him and Debernardi over and prevented their second plunge.
