He left his son fatherless for nearly his entire life.
He had many children and wives he never took care of.
His own classmate said he was 'imperious, cruel and given to boasting about his brain and his wealth' which is a claim Obama reiterated in his book about him.
He was an alcoholic, which led to many car accidents including two that led to his legs being amputated and the other ending his life.
When he married Ana Dunham he was still married to his previous wife.

His son became the first African-American President of the United States.
He was an idealist who dared to take on the government of his native Kenya, which ended his political career.
Much like his son he had an engaging personality and great oratory ability.
Ironically, the man his son beat to become the 44th President was as old as he would've been.
He looked like Dave Chappelle.
He earned a masters at Harvard.
