Why they might be annoying
They went 30 straight years without winning a Grey Cup (1953-82).
They aren't as popular in Toronto as the city's other pro teams are.
Trailing 14-11 against Calgary in the Grey Cup Game, they were on the verge of winning or tying score, when RB Leon McQuay fumbled the ball away, preserving the win for Calgary (1971).
Their former owner, Bruce McNall, was imprisoned for fraud.
Vince McMahon once tried to buy them.
Their uniforms make them look kind of like the Tennessee Titans.
Why they might not be annoying
They are the CFL's oldest continuous franchise, having the same team name since 1873.
They've won more total Grey Cups than any other team in history.
They get to play their home games in the SkyDome, with its retractable roof.
Their stadium is right underneath the famed CN tower, and can be seen in an awesome view through the opening in the stadium's roof (while the roof is open, that is).
John Candy and Wayne Gretzky were once part owners.
They've hosted the Grey Cup Game more than any other team.
They have a great rivalry with nearby Hamilton.
Doug Flutie, Joe Theismann, U.S. Congressman J.C. Watts, Mike Vanderjagt, and Raghib 'Rocket' Ismael played for them.
