    It was moved to higher land after the original Kansas City was flooded out in 1826.
    Most residents supported the Confederacy during the Civil War.
    It is spread over two states, but it mostly known for Kansas City, Missouri.
    It has some of the worst roads in the United States.
    It’s the home of outlaws Cole Younger and Jesse James.
    It brought us Puddle of Mudd.
    They have had unsuccessful NBA and NHL
    It has a huge Mormons following.
    The area is frequently hit by tornadoes.
    In 1855, so many slaves were being stolen, that the city imposed a curfew forcing all black people to be off of the streets by 10:00.
