Why he might be annoying:

He looks like a cross between Jean Chretien and Hasso von Manteuffel.
He goes by his middle name (his first name is Henry).
He supported large tax increases, new types of taxes and blatantly advocated a huge redistribution of money.
He is widely believed to be a control freak.
Much of EDS's success has been attributed to Perot's political connections.
He forced men at EDS to wear white shirts (because he thought blue was effeminate) and women to wear skirts and high-heels.
He paid his employees low salaries and fired anyone who objected.
In addition, he subjected them to investigators, wiretaps, drug tests and polygraphs.
He is a conspiracy theorist; among other things, he believes the Republicans planned to forge lesbian sex photos of his daughter, Al Gore defeated him in a 1993 debate with a hidden earpiece and that the North Vietnamese government hired the Black Panthers to assassinate him.
He once ordered the lawn of the headquarters of EDS spray-painted green.
He hired private investigators to stalk his daughter's boyfriends.
He is egotistical and refuses to admit mistakes, instead blaming someone else.
Most of his appearances in the media were on 'Larry King Live.'
Askmen.com described him this way: 'Despite his aura of bravado and authority, the man looks like a garden gnome.'
During the 1992 election, he withdrew in July and re-entered in October.

Why he might not be annoying:

He fought to reduce government debt.
He referred to affirmative action as 'squishy.'
He helped Texas create laws to combat illegal drugs.
He created tens of thousands of jobs in his corporations.
He said that: 'There is no way I can overstate the damage that drugs are doing to this country.'
After being referred to as 'crazy' during an election campaign, he danced on TV with his wife to the song 'Crazy.'
He flew an employee's wife to Johns Hopkins Hospital in his Lear Jet after she injured her eye.
He was the most successful third-party candidate since Theodore Roosevelt.
He orchestrated and went on an operation to rescue two of his employees who had been taken hostage in Iran (1979).
He has been married to the same woman since 1956.
He won numerous public service awards.
Electronic Data Systems went from a $1000 (borrowed from his wife) start up to a billion-dollar company under his administration.
    He served in the Navy.
