Why they might be annoying
Although being one of the first formed nu-metal bands, they're often seen as following the trend that Korn started.
They've tried to break into the mainstream many times but failed.
They've been described as being pretentious.
Chino has been known to mumble a lot during their songs.
They have a DJ.
Chino bad mouthed limpbizkit's Fred Durst before both bands embarked on 2003's Summer Sanitarium tour, which caused much heartache for everybody involved in the tour.
Why they might not be annoying
Their major influences were Faith No More, Tool, Rage Against the Machine and Soundgarden.
Chi recorded a spoken-word album in 1999.
They've evolved musically with every album.
Max Cavalera, of Soulfly and Maynard James Keenan have collaborated with them.
Chino formed a side-project band called Team Sleep that also featured Mike Patton and Melissa Auf Der Maur.
They have a strong fan following.
