Why he might be annoying
To say he was a workaholic would be a huge understatement.
He made every other 9 to 5 working stiff look like a slacker by comparison.
He was never late and missed just one day of work, to attend his wife's funeral in 1988 (priorities, right?).
Dying 22 days after leaving the work force didn't exactly give him much time to engage in retirement activities.
Why he might not be annoying
His family had to move from Oklahoma to Los Angeles when he was 12 because dust storms kept ruining the crops on the family farm.
He was married to the same woman for 63 years.
He has been documented by the United States Department of Labor as the most reliable worker ever and was given an 'Employee of the Century' award by President Bill Clinton in 1996 for his dedication and work ethic.
His advice for happiness and longevity - 'Avoid stress and credit cards. I don't have no credit cards. I'm not in debt. Don't owe nothing to nobody!'
