Why he might be annoying:

He chose to stay out of advertising wars with rival breweries, and the Coors brand suffered for it.
He defeated unionism at the Coors Brewery, causing a severe boycott from union leaders and members.
He disrespected black business leaders by telling them that 'the best thing [whites] ever did for you was to drag your ancestors over here in chains.'
He was fined for a toxic spill cover-up, when the brewing company polluted Clear Creek.

Why he might not be annoying:

After defeating unionism at the Coors Brewery, workers were still treated fairly with many opportunities for advancement.
He shared a reasonably inexpensive office and worked closely with his brother, Joseph Coors.
He is an environmentalist.
He invented a recyclable aluminum can.
He preferred to have environmentally friendly 'press tab' openers on his cans, even though beer drinkers found them difficult to use.
