The Resume

    (June 15, 1951- )
    Born in Canton, Ohio
Portrayed the door gunner in 'Full Metal Jacket (1987)'
Delivered the lines 'Get some!' and 'Ain't War Hell?'
Acted in 'Slaughter of the Innocents (1993),' 'Fallen Arches (1998),' 'Soap Girl (2002),' 'The Last Eve (2005),' 'Alibi (2007),' and 'The Devil Inside (2012)'

Why he might be annoying:

He was originally hired to play Gunnery Sergeant Hartman but Stanley Kubrick replaced him with R. Lee Ermey (who was serving as the film's technical advisor at the time) at the last minute.
He spent nearly two years rehearsing the dialogue for the Gunnery Sergeant at a hotel room paid for by Kubrick before being cut.
His agent threatened to sue Kubrick after the director expressed his intention to cut the Door Gunner scene - his consolation prize - from the movie (it was reinserted shortly thereafter).

Why he might not be annoying:

He spent thirteen months in Da Nang during the Vietnam War.
He was an airline attendant, a wrestling coach, and a professional golfer before getting into acting.
He worked for over two decades in films and television after Full Metal Jacket.
His short Gunner scene is one of the most quoted parts of the movie.
Even diehard fans of Ermey's performance have admitted that Colceri could have been handled better (he was notified he was being replaced in a letter from Kubrick).
Stanley Kubrick felt badly enough about the experience that he awarded Colceri with a starring credit at the end of the movie.
He performed a successful one-man comedy show, called 'Get Some!' about his experiences in the military and in acting.
