Why he might be annoying:

He was vice-president of sales and marketing at a computer company until he ‘freaked out’ and quit.
He claimed that he and ‘Phineas and Ferb’ co-creator Dan Povenmire were paired while working on ‘Rocko’s Modern Life’ because the producers hoped Povenmire’s neatness would offset his own sloppy storyboarding.
He added his college nickname ‘Swampy’ to his name so it would be longer in credits.

Why he might not be annoying:

He and Povenmire made Phineas and Ferb stepbrothers because he grew up in a blended family and felt that, except for The Brady Bunch, such families were rarely shown on TV.
His drawing style is influenced by Tex Avery.
He and Povenmire wrote a song for each ‘Phineas and Ferb’ episode: ‘Dan and I have found that we can write a song about almost anything in about an hour.’
