Why he might be annoying:

He has been described as having 'slightly gnomish features.'
He left his first wife for Eikenberry.
He and Jill are jointly referred to as the 'Tuckerberries.'
His being cast in 'L.A. Law' may have more than a little to do with the fact that he and producer Steven Bochco had been roomies at Carnegie-Mellon University.

Why he might not be annoying:

He said about comedy, 'It's my favorite thing to do and the most difficult thing to do.'
He received a 'Good Guy Award' from the National Women's Political Caucus for his efforts on behalf of issues affecting women, notably breast cancer awareness and early detection.
He attributes the durability of his marriage with Eikenberry to compatible senses of humor -- and 'that we're both tall and blonde.'
Bochco said, 'He was a short, stocky Jewish guy with curly hair. But when you got to know him, he not only had an incredible charm, but he was also very sexy to women.' (Thus giving hope to the short, gnomish people of the world.)
