Why Anaheim, California might be annoying
Due to its close proximity to Los Angeles, it is constantly mistaken as a twin city to the latter.
The Ku Klux Klan used it as a model city during the 1920's.
Like Orlando, they rely on tourism for the city's main source of revenue.
It is hot and humid year round.
Their city council lost a lawsuit against Angels owner Arte Moreno over changing the Angels official name from the Anaheim Angels to the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim (2006).
The city council was involved in another lawsuit involving Disney and Suncal over zoning infractions (2007).
They opted to name the city's main venue 'The Arrowhead Pond of Anaheim' shortly after the Mighty Ducks were awarded as an NHL expansion team.
Why Anaheim, California might not be annoying
Its population has steadily grown since the early 1990's.
It has proven to be a desirable attraction in recent years.
It ranks among the top 10 for safest cities to live in the United States.
They hosted the clinching games of both the 2002 World Series and 2007 Stanley Cup Finals where on both occasions, the home team won.
When the city's grape industry was wiped out, it became known for its mass production of oranges, walnuts and lemons.
