Why he might be annoying
He was stationed in Bombay, India but willingly went to Pakistan (which harbored terrorists) during the U.S. war on terrorism.
He was tricked in to getting kidnapped thinking he was gettin an 'exclusive' (January 23, 2002).
'The National Movement for the Restoration of Pakistani Sovereignty' sent an e-mail of him in chains with a gun to his head.
His colleague said he was too easy-going to a point of gullibility and 'too trusting.'
He looked like Tim Allen.
Why he might not be annoying
He was the violinist with 'The Ottoman Empire,' a band that once opened for the Kinks (1993).
Ironically he wrote a song titled 'The World Is Not a Bad Place.'
He was a victim of anti-American extremists
He died needlessly trying to do his job.
His wife was seven months pregnant with their first child at the time of his death.
