She never appeared on-screen in her best known role, but instead always yelled from off-screen.
Before 'Big Bang,' her career mainly consisted of bit roles.
When asked by Chuck Lorre if she minded not seeing any hair and makeup people as Mrs. Wolowitz, she replied 'Not at all, as long as I get paid.'
    She collected Disney purses.
Though unseen, she delivered her lines on the same stage as the other 'Big Bang' actors for comic timing purposes.
On her 'Big Bang' role, 'So what's not to be fun about this? It's a great job. Are you kidding? I have a ball.'
Due to her 'Big Bang' character's constant screaming, her vocal cords got hoarse to the point she couldn't speak for days between tapings.
She also notably portrayed a woman George Costanza dated in an attempt to get unemployment benefits on 'Seinfeld.'
She was remembered by friends for the lavish parties she hosted at her home.
