    One of his tv campaign ads featured him swimming in a speedo.
    He graduated Dartmouth, and then Yale Law School.
    He left the Senate after being diagnosed with lymphoma.
    He received a bone marrow transplant from his twin sister to save his life.
    He served in Ethiopia as a member of the Peace Corps.
    He passed away from pneumonia and liver failure at age 55 (1997).
