Why she might be annoying
Terry earned $125 a week to play Toto.
In the movie Toto played a male dog. In real life Toto was a female.
Terry's name was officially changed to Toto after the success of the 'Wizard of Oz.'
Carl Spitz, who was Toto's trainer, claimed that when he first started training Toto, the dog was shy and wouldn't come out under the bed.
Terry was afraid of the powerful wind machines used on the set of 'The Wizard Oz.'
When Toto died in 1942, she was buried in the backyard of her trainer, Carl Spitz. The city of Los Angeles eventually bought Spitz's property and built the Ventura Freeway over Toto's grave.
Why she might not be annoying
Toto was hurt during the filming of 'The Wizard of Oz' when one of Witch's soldiers accidentally stepped on Toto's foot, resulting in a sprained ankle.
Terry was chosen out of hundreds of dogs for the role of Toto.
Toto will always be famous for her role in the classic, 'The Wizard of Oz.'
The musical group, Toto, is named in his honor.
