Why they might be annoying
The name Primal Scream is a term used to describe a cry heard in Primal Therapy.
They changed their style a lot since the band initially formed.
During a concert at the Glastonbury Festival in 2005, lead singer Bobby Gillespie became abusive on stage and called the crowd 'a bunch of fucking hippies' and made a Nazi salute.
The band was then removed by security for running over their allocated time.
Their lineup has constantly changed.
Although they started in 1982, they didn't get noticed until Screamadelica in 1991.
Why they might not be annoying
Screamadelica was critically acclaimed.
Bobby Gillespie was originally the drummer for the Jesus and Mary Chain.
Their song 'Trainspotting' was used in the film of the same name.
Some their members include Kevin Sheilds of My Bloody Valentine and Gary Mounfield of the Stone Roses.
They've lasted over 25 years
