    Played for the Colorado Avalanche (1998-2002), Calgary Flames (2002-03), Buffalo Sabres (2003-07) and the New York Rangers (2007-11)

Why he might be annoying:

    He alternated between jersey numbers 18 & 37 in both his stints in Calgary and Colorado before settling on 23 in Buffalo.
    He said he chose number 23 to honor Don Mattingly.
    He bitched about playing for a Canadian team shortly after he was dealt to the Flames.
    He's an inconsistent player.

Why he might not be annoying:

    He was a member of the 1989 Little League World Series championship team.
    He is a natural leader both on and off the ice.
    As of 2006, he was the only Boston University hockey player to score 100 career goals and 100 career assists.
    He won a silver medal with the United States men's hockey team at the Winter Olympics (2002).
