    Played for the Baltimore Colts in the AAFC (1948-49) and NFL (1950), San Francisco 49ers (1951-60) and New York Giants (1961-64)
    Threw for 33,070 yards and 242 touchdowns
    Six Pro Bowl appearances (1953-54, 1957, 1959, 1961-62)
    Two UPI MVPs (1957, 1962)
    One NFL MVP (1963)
    Inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame (1971)

Why he might be annoying:

    Yelberton?
    His 'glory days' didn't come until he joined the Giants in the twilight of his career.
    Two years (1952 and 1964) he rushed for negative yards.
    He went from an 11-3 record (36 touchdowns, 14 interceptions) in 1963 to a 2-10-2 record (10 TDs, 22 INTs) in 1964 and retired.
    In the pre-Super Bowl era he is considered one of the best quarterbacks to never win an NFL championship.

Why he might not be annoying:

    He was a tough athlete and played through pain in several games.
    He threw for seven touchdown passes in a game against the Washington Redskins (49-34 win on October 28, 1962).
    Though he initially received a frosty reception from Giants players in 1961, he won them over, became a fan favorite and took his team to three straight championship games (1961-63).
    He was the first QB to achieve 30 consecutive touchdown passing seasons (33 in 1962 and 36 in 1963).
    His uniform number (#14) was retired by the Giants.
