In 1972, he threw only 8 TD passes against 25 interceptions.
He was the number 3 quarterback for the Raiders in 1978, and didn't take one snap.

He finished his career with 34 more interceptions than touchdowns (164 TD, 198 int.).

Both of his parents were legally blind.
He is the first Hispanic quarterback to win the Super Bowl.
