Why he might be annoying:

He has been nicknamed 'the Lost Manning.'
Although truth be told he's basically the Rob Kardashian of the Manning family.
He is sometimes mistaken for his brother Eli (they are almost identical).
Growing up, he was considered the 'family goof-ball'; once coaxing Peyton to join him in donning a paper bag in the stands at one of his father's Saints games (their parents were not amused).
He followed in his father's footsteps by attending Ole Miss but never played a day of college football.
He was mainly such a promising college prospect because his younger Sophmore brother bolstered him with strong passes during games.
He joked about being relieved when he learned he was going to have a daughter, because no one would ask him 'if she would be interested in football.'

Why he might not be annoying:

He and his wife met when they were children.
He was named the Isidor High football team's most valuable player.
He led his high school to a state Basketball championship in 1993.
His promising football career ended when he was diagnosed with spinal stenosis when he was eighteen.
He spent years going through different surgeries and rehabs programs, at various points depended on the use of a cane or walker.
He exhibited good humor about his situation, once joking: 'Yeah, I guess I played my entire career a hit away from the wheelchair; thank God I was kind of a wuss and ran out of bounds so many times.'
He is wholeheartedly supportive - rather than envious - of his brothers' careers and their successes therein.
In honor of Cooper, Peyton donned his brother's jersey number, 18, when he began his NFL career.
He's about as entertaining and telegenic a figure as his two brothers, and has done memorable interviews with Cam Newton, Drew Brees, Odell Beckham Jr., Matt Ryan and Gregg Olson.
Peyton later said 'Being on the same team with Cooper was one of the best years I've ever had. Even when he was covered, you could always loft it up high and he’d catch it. No defensive back could stop him.'
