Why he might be annoying:

He slightly resembles Greg Grunberg.
Some of his speeches are nothing more than nagging tirades.
Georgia’s human rights condition worsened under his presidency.
His opponents have accused him of rigging elections.
His attempt to reassert Georgia’s territorial integrity by sending troops to the region of South Ossetia resulted in Russian intervention and recognition of Abkhazia and South Ossetia as independent countries, much to the West’s dismay (August 7-August 16, 2008).
The Russian government compares him to Hitler.

Why he might not be annoying:

He’s fluent in Georgian, English, French, Russian, and Ukrainian, and can speak some Spanish and Ossetian.
He received a diploma from the International Institute of Human Rights in Strasbourg (1995).
He protested against the massive corruption found in his predecessor’s government.
His presidency has witnessed economic growth, political reform, and a crackdown on corruption in Georgia.
He forged strong ties with the United States and European Union.
He retains friendly relations with his predecessor, who resigned because of the Rose Revolution.
