    Three NHL First Team All-Star selections (1931-1933)
    One NHL Second Team All-Star selection (1934)
    Head coach for the New York Rangers (1951-1953)
    Inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame (1952)

Why he might be annoying:

    He made his NHL debut at age 30.
    He recorded a career high of 58 penalty minutes in his NHL rookie season.
    He played for the Rangers team that was swept by the Boston Bruins in the 1929 Stanley Cup Finals.
    His NHL head coaching career was a disaster.

    He was a member of the Rangers' famous Bread Line that included Bun Cook and Frank Boucher.
