The safety worker ran across the track to put out a fire on Pryce's teammate's car.

He did not win a championship Formula One race during his 42 race career.
His best finish was third (twice).

He had no way of seeing Van Vuuren until it was too late to react.
Many people believe he could have been a great driver if he drove on a different team.
His only pole position came at Silverstone, his home track in 1975.
After learning that Pryce died, Niki Lauda said 'there was no joy after that.
